June 13, 2025
St. Louis (UBAN) - Right fielder Kyle Tucker hit a homerun and had 3 RBI as the Dallas Colts
outscored the St. Louis Browns 11 to 9.
Dallas scored 3 runs in the decisive 6th inning when they came up with 4 base hits. The key offensive moment was provided by J.T. Realmuto who quieted the crowd when he stroked a one-base hit bringing home two baserunners. The Dallas offense smacked the St. Louis pitching staff around, scoring in 7 of the 9 innings.
The winning pitcher was Slade Cecconi(2-3) who allowed 2 runs in 4 and 1/3 innings. Pete Fairbanks was credited with his 11th save. The loss was charged to Marcus Stroman(7-2). He was touched for 11 hits and 2 walks in 5 and 2/3 innings.
Adam Oller took a no-hitter into the 7th inning and second baseman Jose Altuve blasted a homerun at Jacks Field as the New York Highlanders beat the Jacksonville Jacks 5 to 0.
Oller(2-0) was indeed brilliant as he hand-cuffed the Jacksonville offense. He gave up just 1 hit and 1 walk in 7 innings dropping his ERA from 5.40 to 3.38. The right-handed Oller lost a no-hitter when Christian Walker singled with two outs in the 7th inning. New York had a total of 9 hits for the game.
Jared Jones(6-3) was given the loss. He gave up 4 hits and 3 walks in 4 and 1/3 innings.
