Pena's 2 HRS Propel Imanaga, Rats to Victory; 7-Run 8th Lifts Wranglers Past Pitt

Richmond (UBAN) - Jeremy Pena ripped 2 homeruns and Shota Imanaga had an impressive outing as the Richmond Lab Rats outscored the Louisville Sluggers 4 to 1.
Richmond scored 2 runs in the decisive 4th inning when they came up with 4 base hits. They would prove to be the difference in the contest. Louisville was out-hit by Richmond, 12 hits to 5.
Imanaga(8-5) went 8 innings allowing 1 run for the win. Hector Neris gained credit for his 8th save. Yilber Diaz(1-1) was the losing pitcher.
Seiya Suzuki had 2 base hits and 3 RBI and Huascar Brazoban pitched 4 strong innings at Wranglers Park where the San Antonio Wranglers beat the reeling Pittsburgh Alleghenys 9 to 5.
San Antonio won the game with an offensive outburst in the 8th inning as they pummeled Pittsburgh for 7 runs on 6 hits. The critical plate appearance was by Suzuki who elicited a roar from the hometown fans when he ripped a one-base hit which was good for two runs. San Antonio finished with 14 hits while Pittsburgh ended up with 9.
Brazoban(3-1) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 4 innings. Brad Keller(2-3) took the loss in relief. He pitched 1 and 1/3 innings allowing 5 hits and 1 walk.
San Antonio now has a record of 40-30. Pittsburgh has recorded a poor 2-8 record in their last 10 games. Their overall record is now 32-39.
