Highlanders Come From Behind for 11-Inning Walk-Off Win; Islanders Come Back for Walk-Off in 10

New York (UBAN) - Jesus Tinoco pitched 4 strong innings and Cal Raleigh cracked a homer and had 2 RBI as the New York Highlanders bested the Toledo Mud Hens in 11 innings 4 to 3 at Babe Ruth Park.
The game was deadlocked at 2 after nine full innings. New York came out the victor in the 11th inning. After an out was recorded, Raleigh initiated the scoring when he cracked a two-run shot giving New York the win as 46,926 happy fans joyfully celebrated. Overall New York out-hit Toledo 8 to 5.
The victory went to Brent Honeywell(3-2) who went 2/3 of an inning, allowing no runs. Phil Maton(2-4) was tagged with the loss in relief. He allowed 2 runs and 1 hit in 1 and 1/3 innings.
New York now has a record of 44-31. Toledo has a record of 32-41, worst in the division after the loss.
One run was the difference at Aloha Stadium as the Hawaii Islanders defeated the Seattle Knights in 10 innings 5 to 4.
Both teams were tied at 2 runs apiece after nine innings. Hawaii won it in the 10th inning. After two outs Jurickson Profar got things rolling when he ripped a single scoring a run. Tyler Stephenson followed next and he cleared the fences for a two-run home run making Hawaii the victors to the delight of the home town faithful. Neither team was able to score until the 7th inning.
The victory was credited to Justin Martinez(2-1) who went 1 inning, allowing no runs. A.J. Minter(1-1) absorbed the loss in relief. He allowed 1 hit and no walks without retiring a batter.
