Bellinger Hoers 3X as Elite Giant's Rally for Walk-Off in 12; 4-Run 12th Lifts Lab Rats

Baltimore (UBAN) - Cody Bellinger ripped 3 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Baltimore Elite Giants topped the Hawaii Islanders in 12 innings by a score of 7 to 6 at Roy Campanella Field.
The score was tied at 4 after nine. Baltimore came out on top in the 12th inning. After two were out Bellinger got things going when he popped a two-run clout over the fence giving Baltimore the victory and sending the 29,921 home-town fans home happy. The score went back-and-forth with the lead changing 7 times.
Justin Slaten(3-2) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 inning. Justin Martinez(3-2) was the loser in relief. He allowed 2 runs and 1 hit in 1 and 2/3 innings.
'It's been a rough ride lately, but this was a good win for us' said Mark Hamill, 'Maybe this will put us back on track.'
In a good matchup it was the Richmond Lab Rats 5, the Oakland Black Panthers 2 in 12 innings at Black Panther Park.
Both teams were tied at 1 runs apiece after nine innings. Richmond won the hard fought contest in the 12th inning. The biggest moment was provided by Lamonte Wade Jr who deflated the crowd as he clubbed a three-run home run. The teams had been locked in a scoreless duel until the 6th inning.
Brant Hurter(5-1) went 2 innings allowing 1 run for the win. Spencer Turnbull(1-4) was given the loss in relief. He gave up 2 hits and no walks in 1 inning.
