Gibson Pitches Otters Past Longhorns, Rodon;

Indianapolis (UBAN) - At Longhorn Stadium, the Indianapolis fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel.
Kyle Gibson(6-4) finally bested his Indianapolis opposite, Carlos Rodon(8-3), by the score of 3 to 1.
Gibson had a solid outing for Chicago. He was reached for 4 hits and 2 walks in 7 innings lowering his ERA from 3.93 to 3.73. Chicago had only 6 hits for the afternoon.
Alexis Diaz earned the save, his 20th. Rodon was given the loss. He gave up 6 hits and 3 walks in 5 and 1/3 innings.
Bailey Ober(6-2) and Aaron Nola(4-7) dueled it out with Ober and the sizzling Pittsburgh Alleghenys coming out on top of the Salt Lake City Saints by the score of 1 to 0, extending their winning streak to nine games.
Ober pitched well for Pittsburgh in their victory. He went 5 innings allowing 3 hits and 1 walk. Ober chalked up 6 strikeouts. Pittsburgh managed only 4 hits on the afternoon.
