Soto Doubles Home Game-Winner as Aguilas Edge Saints;

Salt Lake City (UBAN) - The Mexico City Aguilas Doradas nipped the Salt Lake City Saints 3 to 2 at
Saints Field in a hard fought contest.
Mexico City won the game with a run in the top of the 9th inning. Ty France hit a single. Isiah Kiner-Falefa next to the plate and he grounded into a double play. Jacob Young then was hit by a pitch. Mookie Betts came up and he slapped a single. Juan Soto came to the plate and doubled scoring the run. Mexico City banged out 9 hits on the night.
The win was credited to Yennier Cano(4-1) who went 2 innings allowing no runs. Camilo Doval got the save, his 13th. Ben Brown(2-2) absorbed the loss in relief.
Bryan Reynolds smashed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Milwaukee Stars topped the New Orleans Blues by a score of 5 to 2 at Miller Park.
Reynolds provided much of the offense. He lifted one out of the park for a two run home run in the 1st inning and clubbed a solo home run in the 7th inning. Milwaukee finished with 10 hits while New Orleans ended up with 6.
The winning pitcher was Joe Ryan(8-2) who allowed 2 runs in 6 innings. David Robertson gained credit for his 4th save. Max Meyer(1-2) was hit with the loss. He was knocked around by Milwaukee, allowing 9 hits and 3 walks in 5 and 2/3 innings.
'We really needed this win' said Davey Johnson. 'That first drink of water at the end of a drought sure does taste good!'
