Kirk Collects Five Hits. Hits for Cycle in 'Lemurs Win; Milwaukee's Miller Wins #14

Kansas City (UBAN) - Alejandro Kirk hit for the cycle and had 3 RBI at Monarch Stadium as the Vancouver Death Lemurs staged a comeback win over the Kansas City Monarchs by the count of 9 to 7.
Vancouver had the winning rally in the top of the 9th inning when they tallied 4 runs on 4 hits. The big moment was provided by Kirk who deflated the mood of the partisan fans when he cracked a two-run shot. Vancouver finished with 14 hits in the victory.
The victory was credited to A.J. Puk(3-3) who went 4 innings, allowing 1 run. Jojo Romero(4-6) was the losing pitcher in relief.
'I had good swings tonight,' Kirk said, 'Everything felt right'.
Designated hitter Luis Rengifo had 3 base hits and 2 RBI as the Milwaukee Stars topped the San Francisco Seals by a score of 5 to 4 at Seals Park.
Bryce Miller(14-1) gave a fine effort for Milwaukee. He was reached for 6 hits and 3 walks in 6 and 2/3 innings. Miller racked up 9 strikeouts. Milwaukee rapped out 11 hits for the night.
Kenley Jansen gained credit for his 22nd save. Logan Webb(8-8) was the loser. He pitched 5 and 1/3 innings allowing 7 hits and 1 walk.
