Wranglers Fall Hard to Browns as Ozuna Homers Twice; Two Santana Home Runs Undo Longhorns

San Antonio (UBAN) - Designated hitter Marcell Ozuna cracked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the St. Louis Browns smashed the overmatched San Antonio Wranglers, 13 to 3.
The San Antonio fans didn't appreciate the big day Ozuna had. He smashed a two-run homer in the 1st inning, popped a two-run clout over the fence in the 2nd inning and slapped a one-base hit in the 9th inning. St. Louis had 16 hits overall, while San Antonio had 5.
Cristopher Sanchez(7-5) got credit for the victory, pitching 5 and 2/3 innings and allowing no runs. Michael Wacha(9-8) was hit with the loss. He pitched 1 inning allowing 5 hits and 1 walk.
With the win St. Louis now has a record of 53-46. With the loss, the San Antonio ballclub's record is 52-46.
Carlos Santana cracked 2 homeruns as the Richmond Lab Rats topped the Indianapolis Longhorns by a score of 7 to 2 at Lab Rat Stadium.
Santana made sure the Richmond fans enjoyed themselves. He lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in the 2nd inning, cracked a solo homerun in the 5th inning and stroked a single in the 7th inning. Richmond had 10 hits overall, while Indianapolis had 7.
Shota Imanaga(12-6) got the win allowing 1 run in 6 innings. Ryan Fernandez recorded the save, his 3rd. Carlos Rodon(9-5) was the loser. He served up 3 gopher balls in 8 innings.
