Brownies Plate 19 More to Complete Three Game Onslaught; Diaz Collects 5 Hits as Islanders Thrash Co

San Antonio (UBAN) - Michael Conforto smacked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at Wranglers Park where the St. Louis Browns beat the San Antonio Wranglers by the score of 19 to 10, completing a three game sweep in which the team scored 46 runs.

Conforto enjoyed a big day at the plate. He slapped a one-base hit in the 4th inning, smashed a solo-shot out of the park in the 7th inning and bombed a two-run dinger in the 8th inning. St. Louis provided plenty of action in the 4th inning which saw them score 4 runs on 4 hits, the 8th inning which saw them plate 6 runs on 6 hits and the 9th inning with 4 runs on 3 hits. The St. Louis offense was great, scoring in 7 of the 9 innings.

Ben Lively(8-5) got credit for the victory, pitching 7 innings and allowing 4 runs. Gavin Stone(5-8) was tagged with the loss. He gave up 7 runs in 3 and 2/3 innings of work.

Josh Naylor rocketed 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI in a losing cause for San Antonio.

First baseman Yandy Diaz went five-for-five and left fielder Jurickson Profar jacked one out of the ballyard and had 3 RBI at Globe Life Field as the Hawaii Islanders beat the Dallas Colts by the count of 10 to 2.

Hawaii came up with 7 runs in the 6th inning when they had 7 base hits. The critical plate appearance was by Jo Adell who silenced the crowd when he launched a three-run homer. Dallas was out-hit by Hawaii, 15 hits to 10.

Kenta Maeda(4-7) got the win allowing 1 run in 5 innings. Hunter Gaddis(4-2) absorbed the loss in relief. The Hawaii ballclub's record now stands at 54-45. With the loss, the Dallas ballclub's record is 44-55, worst in the division.
